Eddie Evans
Pastor Eddie Evans has been serving in Ethiopia since November of 2004. His journey began in 1986, when he came to know Jesus in college. Immediately upon conversion, God spoke to Eddie that one day he would be pastoring on the continent of Africa. Eddie served in ministry stateside for many years before God began to bring Ethiopians into his life. Eventually God called Eddie to join a Ethiopian Church in North Carolina where he began working with youth. After serving there for two years, God called Eddie to move to Ethiopia.
Since 2004, Eddie has worked in relationship with an indigenous Church planting movement in Ethiopia called Ethiopian Emmanuel United Church. His first several years were spent traveling throughout Ethiopia strengthening, encouraging, equipping and empowering local Churches. In 2008 God called Eddie to plant Bethel International Church in the capital city of Addis Ababa. Bethel is committed to reaching the youth of Ethiopia, equipping them and sending them into every sphere of society to advance God’s kingdom in Ethiopia and beyond.
Eddie is called to plant Churches and to awaken, equip and mobilize the body of Christ to reach maturity and to accomplish her task of discipling the nations.
A Message from Our President
"Throughout my experiences in traveling to other countries as a pastor, I have recognized a common trend that exists among various ministries and missionaries. This trend is one of potential opportunity to impact the nations, yet the necessary resources are not always available to seize these moments. In an effort to address this challenge, Global Impact Resources was established as a resource-gathering agent for missionaries and ministries." - Mike Williams
