Im Engaged!

The Story:
 

I had been planning to propose to Reisa for about a month, and I’m so relieved I don’t have to keep it a secret anymore!

I told her we were going on a nice picnic date at a spot my friend recommended. We hopped in the car and drove an hour and a half to get there. It was so hard to act calm and normal during the drive!

Once we got there, I put the ring box under my arm and carried practically everything for the picnic. I hadn’t thought of a good place to hide the box because it was so big, so I just stuffed it under all the stuff I was carrying. We had a 20-minute walk, and Reisa kept asking, “Why won’t you let me help you carry stuff? You don’t have to be chivalrous!” Little did she know my jacket and blankets were hiding the ring box!

I dropped everything three times on the way! Luckily, she didn’t see the ring box. When we got to the end of the path, there was a picnic that our friends had set up earlier that day. She realized what was happening, and I walked her over to the cliff and asked her to marry me.

She said YES!
