Taxiing to the runway
You have probably noticed that I try to be clever with our update titles and weave in spiritual themes as a source of encouragement, but this update is straight to the point. We have our tickets for Prague, and we leave in mid-February! Another significant hurdle and answered prayer is that a Czech church will issue us a visa invitation.
Next, you might wonder, “But doesn’t Mike have prostate cancer?” Yes, but we are thankful that my doctors have cleared me to travel. I have three more radiation treatments out of a total of twenty-eight – finished before Christmas – and my prognosis is good for a cure. But this has been a humbling faith journey where God is ever-present. My energy is lower due to the treatment, and my body starting to heal, but that should improve soon. Your prayers, calls, and notes have been very encouraging. Thank you.
