Dear Friends,

Greetings from Gallup, New Mexico and Nashville, Tennessee. While Connie is busy in the Volunteer State, I am in the Land of Enchantment with ministry friends and family. We came to the USA earlier than usual (2 weeks ago) because of Melody graduating from nursing school. We are so proud of her. Also, she just received an internship at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, so we are now scrambling to help her move to Texas, the Lone Star State.

So many good things are happening in Cape Town and at Journey of Grace; especially in the area of leadership. We just added our very first staff member. Her name is Cristina de Abreu, and she is our administrator and worship leader. We also have many more people stepping in to serve in children’s ministry, worship and with our Cape Town School of Supernatural Ministry (CSSM). We have just over 100 students in our school. Honestly, I have seldom seen a curriculum with as much impact as this one. On one Saturday a month we do activations; which is simply putting into practice what’s being learned in class. We have students in their 70’s who will go out on the streets to minister to people. They are seeing people get saved and healed. To see the elder generation fired up for God is a real joy.

We have had to go to 2 morning services recently. Honestly, we did not want to because of our value for worship, Body ministry and fellowship. Once you go to a second morning service the time is much more limited. We are looking for a new venue. Please keep this in prayer. We are looking for a place that can hold up to 500.

On the family side: our son, Adam (who is with us in Cape Town) just received his Masters in Finance, with distinction. He is also about to take the 2nd exam for the CFA. He now needs a job in the financial industry as a junior analyst. Please keep this in prayer. We also just found out that our eldest son, Ben has it in his heart to join us in Cape Town and at Journey of Grace. He really has a desire to pastor. A businessman in the church is offering Ben a job at his company as a financial base so he can be in ministry. That is called ‘favour.’ This will alleviate any financial concerns for Ben. Our youngest son, Ethan is about to take the Tennessee Bar Exam again. I know he will pass this time around.

While here in the States, Connie and I are spending time with family, ministry partners and friends. Though Connie will be staying here longer, I will be heading back to South Africa after our leadership alliance (BMosaic) event in Richmond, Virginia. It will be during the first weekend of June. For those who don’t know, BMosaic is a gathering of Jesus-centered, kingdom-minded and relationally grounded leaders who are partnering together for kingdom purposes. Joaquin Evans from the Bethel Church in Redding, California will be joining us. It is open to any leader who has a passion for bringing His glory everywhere. You can find more details at www.bmosaic.org. Or just drop me an email.

One last thing, almost 10 years ago I was given a prophetic word from a respected prophet that a door would open up to me in India. Honestly, I thought they had really missed it. I had nothing in my heart for India (except that I like curry). Well it looks like that word is coming to pass. I will be doing a week of teaching at a school of ministry in Goa, India. I am very excited about it. I will be there the last week of June. I would appreciate your prayers for this.

Once again, we can’t thank you enough for your prayers and financial support. It takes a team to do what we are doing. Each one of you are part of that team in one way or another. Don’t hesitate to contact us with any prayer request. We love to pray with you and for you. We also love to hear how things are going with you, your families and your vocations.
Many blessings and thanks.

In Him,
Bill and Connie Bennot
